2023: United Soccer Coaches Second Team All-Region X … First Team All-ASC …  ASC Midfielder of the Year … ASC Players to Watch List … Academic All-ASC … started in all 16 games … led the conference with eight assists … scored one goal against UT Dallas … totaled 1,356 minutes in the midfield … put six shots on frame. 

2022: All-ASC Third Team … Academic All-ASC … started in all 18 contests … played 1416 minutes as a midfielder … recorded seven assists … totaled eight shots with two on frame. 

2021: Academic All-ASC selection … started in all 17 contests … recorded an assist against Concordia Texas (Oct. 29) … totaled 10 shots … contributed 1,227 minutes as a midfielder.  

Sawyer is studying business management at UMHB. He was an all-district soccer player at Lebanon Trail High School, where he was also a three-time team MVP. Sawyer was also an academic all-district and academic all-state selection. He is the son of Chris and Shelly Young.
