Biography
2016: Missed half the season due to injury … played in 53 sets with 95 kills and 54 blocks … added nine service aces and 31 digs. 2015: Played in 47 sets with six match starts … recorded 60 kills hitting .288 on the year … added 24 blocks and eight digs.
Sydney is majoring in communications and hopes to become an event planner. She was a four-time all-state volleyball player at Brazos Christian School, where she also earned all-district and all-Brazos Valley. Sydney was also named the 2014 State Tournament MVP and helped her team win a state championship her senior year. Additionally, Sydney was an all-state basketball player and state qualifier in swimming and track. Sydney also participated in Student Council and National Honor Society. She is the daughter of Scot and Ashley Stolz.
