Mary Haridin-Baylor Athletics

Caitlin split time as a starting point guard and starting shooting guard last season and developed into a team leader on and off the court. She should once again be one of UMHB’s top outside shooters this season. 2009-10: Caitlin was an Honorable Mention ASC All-West Division selection. She started 20 games and played in all 27. Caitlin led the Cru with 78 assists and 39 steals. She also averaged 6.5 points and 3.4 rebounds per game. Caitlin reached double figures in scoring five times and posted a season-high 14 points against Hardin-Simmons. She also grabbed a season-high 10 rebounds against Texas Lutheran and posted a season-high with seven assists at Concordia Texas. 2008-09: Caitlin played in all 27 games and started 19. She averaged 6.1 points and 2.0 rebounds per game. Caitlin added 69 assists and 30 steals and she hit the game-winning three-pointer at Howard Payne. She scored in double figures six times and hit for a season-high 13 points against both Howard Payne and Schreiner University. 2006-08: Caitlin played one season of basketball at Temple College and she also redshirted one season. High School: Caitlin was an All-State basketball player at Academy High School, where she also earned District MVP honors. She also lettered in volleyball, track, softball and cross-country. Personal: Caitlin is the daughter of Linda and Grady Barganier. She was born January 12, 1987 and is majoring in exercise and sport science at UMHB.
