Kendra Foreman returned to her alma mater as assistant coach on July 1, 2021. She helped the Cru to the 2021-2022 American Southwest Conference regular-season title and third appearance in the NCAA Division III Sectionals. She took over as Interim Head Coach on January 24, 2023.Â
Foreman returned to UMHB after spending the previous two seasons as a graduate assistant at the University of Dallas. The Crusaders won four of their last six games during an abbreviated schedule in 2020-21 and earned a berth in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament. She was also part of the SCAC Coaching Staff of the Year in 2020-21. Foreman spent one year as a volunteer assistant coach at UMHB and helped lead the Cru to the first NCAA Division III National Championships berth in program history in 2018-19.

Foreman graduated from UMHB in 2017 with a degree in sport management. She was a two-year letter winner for the Cru women’s basketball team and won American Southwest Conference West Division Defensive Player of the Year honors as a senior in 2016-17. She was also First Team ASC All-West Division and earned a spot on the ASC Championship Tournament All-Tournament Team that season. Foreman was Second Team ASC All-West Division as a junior and she played for two ASC Tournament qualifiers during her career at UMHB. She also played two seasons of basketball at McLennan Community College in Waco before transferring to UMHB. Foreman and her husband, Willie, have one son, Trae.
