Gigi is studying accounting at UMHB. She played basketball and participated in track at Lutheran High North. Gigi is a two-time all-district selection, a two-time all-state selection, Vype All-Tournament Team honoree and TAPPS State All-Tournament Team selection. She also made two state tournament appearances and earned all-state academic honors. Gigi participated in collegiate basketball at University of the Southwest, where she earned academic all-conference honors. She is the daughter of Kevin and Crystal Waddell and Nadiya Black.
