Jayden is a health science major at UMHB. She participated in volleyball, basketball and track at Maywood High School. Jayden was a Lincoln Journal Star All-State Honorable Mention selection, RPAC First Team and Omaha World Herald Honorable Mention selection. Academically, she was NCPA Winter Academic All-State, Salutatorian and 2019 Omaha World-Herald All-Academic Program Honorable Mention. Jayden also played collegiate basketball at Southeast Community College. She earned First Team Academic All-American, Second Team Academic All-American, Nebraska Community College Athletic Conference All-Conference Team, Southeast Community College Team Freshman of the Year and Southeast Community College Team MVP. Jayden is the daughter of Ben and Jane Widener.
