2024-25: Second Team All-ASC … CSC Academic All-District Team … ASC Distinguished Scholar-Athlete Team … Academic All-ASC … Played in 23 games … scored 279 points … ranked 6th in NCAA with an 88.73 free throw percentage … made 88 field goals … led the team with 40 three-pointers … brought down 96 rebounds … added 23 steals and 18 blocks … tallied 19 assists … recorded double-double against Trinity (Nov. 9) … scored season-high 25 points against St. Thomas (Dec. 31) … tallied 14 double-digit scoring performances with four 20+ point showings. 

2023-24: Academic All-ASC … Played in 21 games … totaled 104 points for a 5.0 average … added 38 rebounds … added 15 assists, 15 steals and five blocks … scored a season-high 15 points against Concordia Texas and Howard Payne … added nine rebounds against McMurry.

2022-23: Academic All-ASC … played in 14 games … totaled 17 points … added 17 rebounds, five blocks and four steals.

Josie is a sport management major at UMHB. She played basketball at Plano Senior High School, where she was a four-year letter winner. Josie was a four-time all-district selection, four-time academic all-district honoree and a two-time academic all-state selection. She was also a member of Karate Club and is the daughter of Larry and Kristina Bruder.
