Biography
Katie is majoring in Christian studies at UMHB with the career goal of becoming a Bible teacher and basketball coach. She participated in basketball, volleyball, track and softball at Southwest Christian School, where she earned 12 varsity letters. Katie earned all-state honors in volleyball, basketball and track during her high school career. She was also a top ten finalist for Texas Christian Athlete of the Year in 2018. Katie is the daughter of Wade and Kathy Gear.
