Biography

Shelby is adjusting to her new guard position and will continue to improve and see playing time in the process.

2011-12: Played in six games ... Scored six points and brought down eight rebounds ... added two assists and one steal.

Shelby was a two-time all-district basketball player at Mineral Wells High School, where she averaged 11.9 points and 10.4 rebounds per game. Shelby was also twice named best defensive player and also earned Athlete of the Year honors. She also competed in volleyball, basketball and softball. Shelby is studying pre-physical therapy at UMHB and is the daughter of Scott and Kelly Simonton.
