Biography
2015: Third Team All-ASC selection … started in all 17 games … scored goals against Austin College (Sept. 1), Louisiana College (Sept. 19) and McMurry (Oct. 10) … added two assists… totaled 44 shots with 16 on goal … also a big contributor in the defense. 2014: Played in all 16 contests with 15 starts … scored five goals and took 33 shots … recorded two game-winning goals … totaled 10 points on the season … recorded a season-high two goals at East Texas Baptist (Oct. 4). 2013: Played in all 18 games for the Cru … Scored game-winning goal in overtime against Houston-Victoria (Oct. 12) … finished season with one goal, two assists and 20 shots.
Briana is studying nursing at UMHB. She was a four-time all-district soccer player and three-time leading scorer at St. Pius X High School, where she was named academic all-state and all-state honorable mention. Briana was also an all-district volleyball player and earned four letters in the sport. She also played club soccer for Houston Express and participated in National Honor Society. Briana is the daughter of Jimmy and Thereze Hester.
