Biography

2021: Academic All-ASC selection … played in 12 games as a defender … added assists against Austin College (Sept. 18) and at LeTourneau (Sept. 25) … totaled two shots and 215 minutes. 2020c: Missed part of the season ... played in five games with 151 minutes as a midfielder/defender ... totaled one shot.  
 
Carly is double majoring in BCIS and supply chain management at UMHB. She played four years of varsity soccer at Lake Travis High School, where she was named Newcomer of the Year, Defender of the Year and all-district. Carly was also an academic all-district selection. She is the daughter of Jeff and Barbara Van Essen.
