Mary Haridin-Baylor Athletics

Cassie is studying nursing at UMHB. She was a two-time all-region soccer player at Kenai Central High School, where she also earned all-region in volleyball. Cassie was a four-year soccer letterman and two-year basketball and volleyball letterman. She is the daughter of Dave and Lara Ross.

Cassie chose UMHB because of the nursing and soccer programs. She hopes to become an NICU nurse after graduation. Cassie’s favorite professional sports team is the U.S. Women’s National Team and her favorite athletes are Alex Morgan and Christie Rampone. Her favorite food is grilled cheese, she enjoys listening to pop music and says her can’t miss television show is Grey’s Anatomy. Cassie credits her high school basketball coach Stacia Rustad as having the biggest influence on her as a person and an athlete.
