Biography

2024: Played in 18 games with two starts … added 12 shots with seven on goal … added one assist … played 506 minutes on the season.

2023: Played in 16 games … scored goals against LeTourneau (Sept. 30) and Sul Ross State (Oct. 7) … totaled 13 shots with nine on frame. 

Ella is studying nursing at UMHB. She was a four-time all-district soccer player at Dripping Springs High School, where she helped her team to a state championship in 2021. Ella was also a team captain, Dr. Pink Frisco Invitational MVP and KVUE Athlete of the Week. Academically, Ella was a four-time all-district selection and received two academic all-state awards. She was the leading scorer for her Sting ECNL Club Soccer team and member of National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society, Kindness Club and HOSA. Ella also worked as a Player2Player Coach, U.S. Soccer Federation referee, Tiger Clinic Pediatrics intern and earned the Principal Service Hour award. Ella is the daughter of Bill and Stacey Ruff.
