Biography

Gretchen is a nursing student at UMHB. She played soccer and tennis at Lorena High School, where she was a three-time Super CenTex selection and all-state honoree. Gretchen also earned a pair of District Defensive MVP honors with two District MVP awards. She was a three-time academic all-district selection and a high school leadership group leader at St. Jerome’s Catholic Church. Gretchen opened her collegiate career at the University of Tennessee-Martin, where she was on the Chancellor’s Honor Roll and a member of the Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society. She is the daughter of Richard and Megan Marek.
