Malyn is a nursing major at UMHB. She played soccer at Bridgeland High School, where she was a four-year letter winner. Malyn was a three-time all-district selection, Defensive Player of the Year and received the Heart and Hustle Award. She was also a three-time academic all-district selection and a member of Key Club, HOSA, National Honor Society and MSA. Malyn is the daughter of Jeremy and Paula Martinson.
