2022-23: CSC Academic All-District … Academic All-ASC … recorded six wins at #2 singles … won seven matches in #1 doubles. 2021-22: Academic All-ASC selection … played the season at #1 singles … earned four wins at #1 doubles and three wins at #2 doubles.
Jalon is majoring in exercise and sport science with a minor in psychology at UMHB. She played #1 singles at Pearland High School for three consecutive seasons, earning all-district honors. Jalon also finished third in district and graduated in the top seven percent of her class. She was also a member of National Honor Society, African American Culture Club, Science National Honor Society and Interact. Jalon is the daughter of Stan and Jennifer Burns.
