Jacey Smith

Jacey Smith joined UMHB as a graduate assistant coach for the volleyball program in August of 2019. She is working on her Master's Degree in sport administration.

Smith comes to UMHB after a standout playing career at Abilene Christian University. Smith was a four-year starter for the Wildcats and was a two-time All-Southland Conference selection. She also earned a spot on the SLC All-Tournament Team in 2017 and was a three-time Academic All-Conference honoree. Smith has coaching experience at the ACU Volleyball Camp and as a private lessons instructor. She has also worked at the Wimberley ISD Speed and Strength Camp and as an intern in the ACU Athletics Marketing and Promotions office. Smith also volunteered with several organizations during her career at ACU.

Smith graduated from Abilene Christian in May 2019 with a degree in Kinesiology, Sport and Recreation Management. She earned Dean's List honors in each of her four years on campus and was a Presidential Scholarship recipient.
