Madeline Odom

Madeline Odom joined the UMHB volleyball program as a graduate assistant in 2017. She assists Head Coach Rob Frost in a variety of roles and becomes the first graduate assistant to serve in Frost's tenure.

Odom is a 2017 graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Management. She has an Associate's Degree from Hill College. Odom was a two-year letter winner in volleyball at Southeastern Louisiana as an outside hitter. She was voted to the All-Louisiana Team and also earned All-Academic honors. Odom was voted to the Flo Hyman Tournament All-Tournament Team and finished her career with more than 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs. She also played two years of volleyball at Hill College and helped lead the Rebels to a pair of National Tournament appearances. She was NJCAA All-Conference and All-Tournament and also earned All-Academic honors at Hill College. She finished ninth in the country in kills as a sophomore and also served as Team Captain.

Odom is a Texas native who grew up in the Houston area. She also has extensive volunteer service with local churches and elementary schools. Odom has worked multiple volleyball camps and refereed tournament and league play during her time in Louisiana.
