Biography
Elise has been a key contributor on the back row for the Cru in each of the past three seasons. She is expected to claim the starting libero job this year. Elise was an Academic All-ASC pick last year after finishing third on the team with 362 digs. She added 11 assists and 30 service aces to rank second on the team in that category. Elise was an Academic All-ASC selection as a sophomore and posted 106 digs and seven service aces despite being limited early in the season by injuries. Elise finished with 226 digs, good for 3rd on the team as a freshman. She added 21 service aces, four assists and a kill.
Elise was an All-District and Academic All-District volleyball player at Horn High School and she also earned Defensive Player of the Year honors. Elise also lettered in softball. She is the daughter of Kathie and Wayne Butler. Elise is majoring in business management at UMHB.
