Biography
Erin is the only senior on the Cru roster this season and she enters the season with a third straight ASC East Division Preseason Defensive Player of the Year honor. She became the first UMHB student-athlete to win an ASC Preseason Player of the Year award three times in a career when she was selected Preseason Defensive Player of the Year this fall. Last season, Erin was a First Team ASC All-East Division selection. She led UMHB and the ASC with 635 total digs and she added 20 service aces, 20 assists and five kills in another outstanding all-around season. Erin took East Division Defensive Player of the Year honors as a sophomore after leading the league with 5.92 digs per conference match. She finished with a team-best 574 digs and added eight service aces. Erin also earned First Team All-East Division honors as a freshman after leading the Cru with 584 digs in 2007. She is a two-time ASC Academic All-Conference selection, as well.
Erin was an All-District and Academic All-District selection as a volleyball player at MacArthur High School. Erin is the daughter of Linda and Greg Maenius and she is majoring in business marketing at UMHB.
