2024-25: Academic All-ASC … Played in 25 games … totaled 227 points with a 9.1 points per game average … hit 26 three-pointers … brought down 76 rebounds … added 45 assists, 32 steals and 15 blocks … scored a season-high 25 points against UC Santa Cruz (Jan. 3) and Concordia Texas (Jan. 6).
2023-24: Academic All-ASC … Played in 24 games … totaled 73 points … shot .923 from the foul line … added 31 rebounds and 13 steals … put up four blocks.
2022-23: Academic All-ASC …played in 21 games … totaled 41 points … added 29 rebounds, five assists and seven blocks.
Katelen is a pre-physical therapy major at UMHB. She played basketball at Veterans Memorial High School, where she was a four-year letter winner. Katelen was a three-time all-district selection, three-time all-region selection and three-time all-south Texas selection. She was also a TABC all-state selection and the program’s 2022 Offensive Player of the Year. Katelen also received several academic honors and was a member of Student Council, Freshman Council and African American Cultural Club. She is the daughter of Lynne and Greg Brooks.
