Maddie is studying education at UMHB. She participated in volleyball and track at Westwood High School, where she was an all-district selection and defensive MVP. Maddie also earned the 4.0 Academic Honor Award. She was an academic all-district selection and earned TAVC academic honors. Maddie also participated in National Honor Society, Partners in PE and Pacesetters. She is the daughter of Ed and Stephanie Gillispie.
