Morgan developed into one of the Cru’s top defensive players last season and had a solid all-around campaign. She will once again challenge for a starting job this year. Morgan was an Academic All-District VIII and Academic All-ASC selection last season after leading the Cru with 440 digs. She added 27 total blocks, 222 kills and 18 service aces. Morgan ranked among the team leaders in each of those categories and hit .110 for the season. Morgan posted 140 kills and hit .112 as a freshman. She added 13 assists, eight service aces, 87 digs and 36 total blocks that season.

Morgan was an All-District and Academic All-District volleyball player at Needville High School. She was voted Team MVP for the NHS tennis team and lettered in softball and track, as well. Morgan is the daughter of Rhonda and Bryan Baker. She is majoring in exercise and sport science, focusing on pre-physical therapy at UMHB.
