Mary Haridin-Baylor Athletics

2024-25: ASC Newcomer of the Year … First Team All-ASC … Academic All-ASC … Played in 26 games … averaged 8.1 points per game with 211 total points … added 120 rebounds for a 4.6 average … hit 87 field goals … tallied 58 assists, 39 steals and two blocks … scored a season-high 22 points against Wartburg (Dec. 17) and East Texas Baptist (Jan. 23) … totaled nine double-digit scoring performances.

Rachel is a pre-physical therapy student at UMHB. She played four years of varsity basketball at George Ranch High School, where she was awarded 20-6A District Defensive Player of the Year and first team all-district. She was also a two-time first team academic all-district selection with an academic all-state honorable mention award. Rachel was also a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes. She is the daughter of Francis and Rita Okoye.
