Mary Haridin-Baylor Athletics

Rebecca will compete for the libero spot this season. She is a strong passer who should see a lot of court time.
 
Rebecca was a three-time all-district and three-time all-academic volleyball player at Byron P. Steele High School, where she also earned district MVP her senior season. Rebecca is the daughter of Kelly and Cindy Hill. She is studying exercise and sport science at UMHB and played club volleyball with La Vernia Volleyball Club.
 
Rebecca says she chose UMHB because she fell in love with every aspect of the university. She hopes to be an athletic trainer or teacher and coach after graduation. Rebecca’s favorite professional sports team is the San Antonio Spurs and her favorite athletes are Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh Jennings. She enjoys listening to music, working out, going to the lake and having fun with friends when she’s not playing volleyball. Most people don’t know Rebecca was a dancer for seven years before she decided to try sports.
