Biography

2013: Third Team All-ASC … led the Cru in assists (837) and aces (43) … added 20 kills, 336 digs and 10 block assists … recorded 6.15 assists per set. 2012: Second Team All-ASC … led the team with 931 assists and 33 aces … added 49 kills and 16 blocks … spearheaded a Cru offense that recorded 1,276 kills for a .202 attack percentage.

Shelby is studying education at UMHB. She was a two-time all-district volleyball player at Leander High School. Shelby was also named Team MVP and earned academic all-state honors. She also participated in Fellowship of Christian Athletes, PALs and the National Honor Society.  Shelby is the daughter of Gilbert and Melinda Prather.
