Sofia is a marketing major at UMHB. She attended Canyon Lake High School, where she played basketball and was on the cheer and track teams. In basketball, Sofia was an all-district selection, team MVP and selected for the Cornerstone Classic and Wimberley Hoopfest all-tournament teams. She was also a San Antonio All-Star Game selection and broke seven school records. Sofia was an area champion and regional qualifier for the 4x100m relay, also breaking the school record in that event. She was also an All-American cheer team selection and earned academic all-district and all-state honors. Sofia was a member of National Honor Society, PALs, Yearbook, Principal’s Student Advisory and YoungLife. She is the daughter of Damon and Vesselina George.
