2021: Academic All-ASC selection … Played 57 sets as reserve defensive specialist … totaled 112 digs for a 1.96 digs per set average … added 21 service aces, nine assists and one kill.  

Sydney is studying marketing at UMHB. She played volleyball for San Antonio Saints, where she was an all-American, Overall Player of the Year and all-tournament team member. Sydney also served as team captain. She is the daughter of Duane and Janeen Bowen.
