Mary Haridin-Baylor Athletics

Tina bounced back strong from a serious knee injury and was one of the Cru’s top hitters again by the end of last season. She earned Honorable Mention All-East Division honors after recrding 226 kills and 44 total blocks. Tina also hit a team-best .304 despite missing the first part of the year recovering from her injuries. Tina led UMHB with 386 kills and a .244 hitting percentage as a sophomore. She added a team-best 87 blocks and chipped in 40 digs and 14 service aces. Tina was voted to the ASC All-East Division First Team. She stepped right into the starting line-up as a freshman and earned ASC All-East Division honors. Tina topped UMHB with 322 kills and her hitting percentage of .217 was also the team’s best. She added 84 total blocks, a team-high 34 service aces, 81 digs and seven assists.

Tina was an All-State and Academic All-District volleyball player at Copperas Cove High School. She also lettered in basketball. Christina is the daughter of Erlinda and William Miller. She is majoring in education at UMHB.
