Box Score Seguin, TX – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor volleyball team bounced back from another early deficit to post a four-set win over Texas Lutheran University Saturday night in Seguin. UMHB posted a 21-25, 25-17, 25-18, 25-23 win over the Bulldogs to improve to 12-3 overall and 7-1 in American Southwest Conference play. The loss drops TLU to 7-11 overall and 3-5 in the ASC.
Tina Miller led the Cru with 17 kills and
Kimberly Smidovec added 11 for UMHB.
Anissa Garcia had 44 assists and 15 digs.
Jasmine Austin led UMHB with 18 digs and also had four service aces. Five different players were in double figures in digs for the Cru and UMHB added 10 total team blocks.
The Cru will now return to action with the second ASC Dig Pink Crossover Challenge of the season next weekend. UMHB will play four matches against ASC West Division opponents in Tyler on Friday and Saturday.
