Volleyball falls to Centenary 3-0

Shreveport, LA- The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor volleyball team fell behind early and the Cru could not recover in a three-set loss to Centenary College Saturday afternoon in Shreveport, Louisiana. UMHB fell 25-15, 26-24, 25-16 to fall to 16-6 overall while Centenary improves to 13-8.
 
Kimberly Smidovec led the Cru with 13 kills and Tina Miller added ten more kills for UMHB. The Cru had 123 total attacks compared to 116 for Centenary. Morgan Baker contributed 16 digs for UMHB. Jasmine Austin had the only service ace for the Cru. Anissa Garcia had 38 assists for the UMHB women. Shelby Singleton had 19 kills while Jaclyn Lopez contributed 12 to the Ladies team victory. Brooke Bahlinger had 7 kills during the match for Centenary while Taylor Gilmour had 19 digs.
 
The Cru will be back in action on Tuesday, October 18th to face UT- Dallas. There will be a 7 P.M. start time and take place in Richardson.
