The other side of the bracket will see Howard Payne University (16-9, #4 seed) taking on Louisiana College (15-10, #5 seed) at 5:00 on Friday and LeTourneau University (11-14, #8 seed) facing regular season champion and tournament host U.T.-Tyler (22-3) at 7:30 PM. The second semifinal game will be played at 3:30 PM on Saturday with the two semifinal winners meeting in the ASC Championship game at 2:00 PM on Sunday. The ASC Tournament champion will receive the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III National Championships.

UMHB swept the two regular season meetings with Ozarks. The Cru posted a 79-66 victory in Belton in January as Taylor Tucker poured in 21 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. UMHB then topped the Eagles 79-69 in Clarksville, Arkansas two weeks ago. Jovana Miles had a team-high 18 points and Jonelle Smith added 14 points and 11 boards in that victory.

Tucker is the Cru's leading scorer and rebounder on the season, but she has missed the last five games and will sit out the ASC Tournament with an injury. Guard Macy Moore is the leading active scorer at 13.4 points per game and she also has a team-high 70 assists. Center Miles is averaging 12.4 points and 8.6 rebounds per game and guard Alyssa Dean is scoring 13.3 points per contest. The Cru women are shooting 44 percent as a team and out rebound their opponents by an average of 15.4 boards per game.

The Cru women are 9-5 against the rest of the ASC Tournament field this season. Howard Payne is the only team in the tournament field that UMHB has not beaten at least once this season.

The UMHB women advanced to the ASC Tournament championship game in 2006 and 2001. The Cru women have advanced to at least the second round of the ASC Tournament in four of their previous nine trips to the conference tournament.

All of the ASC Tournament games will be played at the Herrington Patriot Center on the campus of U.T.-Tyler in Tyler, Texas. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students each day.
