BELTON, Texas. – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women's soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision to Our Lady of the Lake University Saturday evening in Belton. The loss dropped the Cru to 1-1-1 on the season while the Saints improved to 3-2-1.
The Saints used a third-minute goal and 82
nd-minute goal both from Brandy Salazar to gain the 2-0 advantage on the Cru. Kat Parker,

Caitlin Parr and
Nicole Burgett all recorded shots for the Cru as the Saints outshot UMHB 7-4 in the match. UMHB took two corner kicks in the match while limiting the Saints to one and made four saves to Our Lady of the Lake's two.
Courtney Craig and
Morgan Prentice split time in the net for the Cru, each giving up a goal and making two saves. UMHB took two corner kicks in the match while limiting the Saints to one.
UMHB continues play on Thursday, September 17
th in the American Southwest Conference opener at Belhaven University.
