SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women's soccer team fell 3-0 to Trinity University Tuesday afternoon in San Antonio. The loss dropped the Cru to 3-2-1 on the season while the Tigers improved to 6-0-1 on the season.
Trinity gained an early lead on the Cru with a goal from Hannah Hommel in the 10
th minute and a goal from Julia Camp in the 18
th minute. The Tigers held that lead until the 79
th minute when Chelsea Cole added one more goal giving Trinity the 3-0 win.
Kathryn Parker led the Cru with two shots while six other Crusaders each added one.
Courtney Craig took the loss in the goal for the Cru, allowing three goals and making 11 saves. UMHB totaled eight shots with six on goal while the Tigers had 24 shots with 15 on goal.
UMHB returns to action in a pair of American Southwest Conference matches, beginning Friday, September 25
th in a 5:00 p.m. match against U.T.-Dallas.
