MARSHALL, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women's soccer team played East Texas Baptist University to a scoreless draw Saturday evening in Marshall. The tie moved the Cru to 4-1-1 on the season and 1-0-1 in American Southwest Conference action while the Tigers went to 4-2-1 overall and 1-0-1 in league play.
Neither team was able to score in the double-overtime match, ending the 110-minute contest scoreless.
Elissa Freberg led the Cru with three shots in the contest while
Chelsea Graham and
Taylor Marques each added two. UMHB totaled nine shots with six on goal. Ashleigh Rondon led the Tigers with four shots while Chase Swann added two. The Tigers recorded six shots with one on-goal.
Emmy McMaude played the full 110 minutes in goal for the Cru, making one save. Claire Montondon was the lone goalkeeper for the Tigers, making six saves.
UMHB returns to action on Thursday, September 21
st in a 5 p.m. match against University of the Ozarks at the UMHB Soccer Fields in Belton.
