AUSTIN, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women's tennis team fell just short of clinching a postseason berth as the Cru fell to Concordia Texas 9-0 Friday in Austin. The Tornados improve to 7-7 overall and 2-3 in American Southwest Conference play and clinch a berth in the ASC Championship Tournament with the win. The loss ends the Cru's season at 3-7 overall and 2-4 in the ASC.
 
The loss also closes out the career of lone UMHB senior Shannon Kelly. It was also the final match as women's coach for Cru Head Coach James Cohagan, who is retiring at the end of the school year.
