BELTON, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin Baylor men's soccer team closed out the regular season with a 2-0 win over Concordia University Texas Friday evening in Belton. The win improved the Cru to 12-3 on the season with a perfect 10-0 record in conference action.
It took UMHB just 41 seconds to get on the scoreboard. UMHB drove the opening kickoff downfield and earned a corner kick.

Dalton Lloyd made five saves in the first 45 minutes of action to preserve UMHB's lead.
The Cru added another goal in the 75
th minute when
Price Peden shot a rocket into the side for a 2-0 UMHB advantage. Peden finished a punched ball from the CTX goalkeeper for the insurance score. UMHB's back line surrendered just two shots in the second half while Lloyd soured several scoring opportunities for the Tornados.
UMHB totaled nine shots in the contest, putting four on frame. The Tornados totaled nine shots in the contest with five on frame. Lloyd earned the win in goal for the Cru, making five saves in the shutout. Buchanan was UMHB's shot leader, totaling four with one on frame.
UMHB returns to action in the 2021 American Southwest Conference Men's Soccer Championship Tournament. UMHB won the regular season title and right to host the tournament in Belton. Play opens on Tuesday, November 2
