SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men's soccer team fell 3-0 to Trinity University Friday evening in San Antonio. The loss dropped the Cru to 2-4 on the season while the Tigers improved to 6-0.
Trinity's Fraser Burns gave the Tigers a lead in the 24
th minute, scoring on an assist from Michael Meese. The Tigers scored one more goal late in the first half when Jack Downes converted a penalty kick. Meese added his own goal in the 53
rd minute as Trinity took a 3-0 win over the Cru.
Trinity totaled 24 shots in the contest with eight on frame. UMHB totaled seven shots with two on frame, led by
Ethan Buchanan with three total shots.
Dalton Lloyd played the full 90 minutes in goal for the Cru, making five saves. Austin Wilman earned the win for Trinity, making two saves.
