LANCASTER, Pa. – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men's soccer team dropped a one-goal decision to No. 18 Franklin and Marshall Monday evening in Lancaster.
UMHB's defense fought hard against a Franklin and Marshall offense that totaled 13 shots in the contest. The Diplomats put four shots on frame as goalkeeper
Dalton Lloyd made three saves for UMHB. F&M's game-winner came in the 79
th minute when StevenYakita scored on an assist from Christian Avila Neres.
The Cru totaled seven shots in the contest, led by
Patrick Roach and
Seth Neveloff with two shots each. The Cru put four shots on frame to match the Diplomats' mark and allowed just five corner kicks in the contest.
UMHB returns to home action on Saturday, September 11
th in a 7 p.m. match against University of St. Thomas (Houston) at the UMHB Soccer Fields in Belton.
