RICHARDSON, Texas - The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women's soccer team edged UT Dallas 1-0 Thursday evening in Richardson. The win improved the Cru to 11-0-1on the season and 4-0-1 in league play while the Comets fell to 6-4-0 overall and 3-1-0 in American Southwest Conference action.
 
Mackenzie Worthy scored the game winner for the Cru in the fifth minute, finding the back of the net off a double assist from 
Maria Rico and 
Kennedy Harris. Both teams recorded 11 shots in the contest, with UMHB putting six on frame. Worthy and 
Ashley Vensel led the Cru with three shots each while Rico added two.
 
UMHB's back line allowed the Comets just three shots on frame with goalkeeper 
Reagan Williams saving all three shots to preserve the shutout.
 
The Cru returns to action on Saturday, October 15
th in a 1 p.m. contest at University of the Ozarks in Clarksville.
