SEGUIN, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women's soccer team blanked Texas Lutheran University 1-0 Sunday afternoon in Seguin. The win improved the Cru to 4-0 on the season while the Bulldogs fell to 0-3-1.
Kristen Burdick scored the lone goal of the contest, finding the back of the net off an assist from
Kennedy Harris. The Cru limited the Bulldogs to just two shots in the contest and none on frame. UMHB totaled 21 shots with 10 on goal.
Ashley Vensel led the Cru with four shots, followed by
Mackenzie Worthy and
Kaileigh Duncan with three each.
UMHB returns to action on Friday, September 16
th in a 7 p.m. contest at Hendrix College in Conway, Ark.
