LONGVIEW, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men's soccer team played a hard-fought match at LeTourneau University Thursday evening in Longview, ending in a scoreless draw. The Cru moved to 4-1-2 on the season and opened American Southwest Conference play 0-0-1 while the Yellowjackets moved to 4-2-3 overall and 0-0-1 in league action.
The contest saw 36 total shots and 12 saves. UMHB put nine of their 26 shots on frame, led by
Ethan Dacaret with five.
Nick Villanueva,
Patrick Roach and
Francisco Maldonado all added four shots each. Dalton Llyod spent was in the goal for the Cru and made three saves.
UMHB returns to action Saturday, October 1
st in a 2:30 p.m. contest against East Texas Baptist University in Marshall.
