Men’s Soccer falls at UT Dallas

RICHARDSON, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men's soccer team dropped a one-goal decision Saturday at the University of Texas at Dallas. UMHB moved to 6-6-2 on the season while the Comets improved to 9-1-2 on the year.
 
The first half played scoreless until the 44th minute when Anton Van Efferink converted a penalty kick for a Comet lead. UT Dallas outshot the Cru 3-0 in the contest, putting two shots on frame.  
 
UTD controlled most of the second half, totaling 11 shots to the Cru's three. The Comets put eight shots on frame while UMHB added one.  Ethan Hilliard made six saves for the Cru, allowing one goal in the 90-minute contest. Aidan Aguilera and Karsen Macias each recorded shots for the Cru as Aguilera had the Cru's lone on-frame mark.
 
UMHB returns to action on Thursday, October 24th in a 7:30 p.m. contest against Howard Payne University at the Cru Soccer Field in Belton.
