SEWANEE, Tenn. – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women's soccer team ended their time in Sewanee, Tennessee in a 1-1 tie against Trine University Sunday afternoon. The Cru's record moves to 2-1-1 on the season.
After 27 minutes of scoreless play, the Thunder struck first in the first half.
Natalie Mason responded with the equalizer in the second half, soaring a shot in the back of the net in the 62
nd minute. The rest of the match remained scoreless, ending with the contest knotted at one.
The Cru totaled 24 shots in the game, limiting the Thunder to just five.
Trinity Hoffmann and
Jayme Dowell led with four shots each.
Allie Angell was the lead Crusader in shots on goal with three, while a trio of Crusaders each added two.
Emma Edwards earned her second collegiate decision in the net for the Cru, playing the entire 90 minutes and recording 2 saves.
