SAN ANTONIO, Texas --- The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor's men's soccer team fell to Trinity University in a 3-1 away game loss Wednesday in San Antonio. The loss dropped the Cru to 12-2-3 on the season while the Tigers improved to 14-1.
The first half played scoreless with neither team finding the net. The Tigers scored the first goal 75
th minute before quickly earning a penalty kick goal at the 74:47 mark to put Trinity University up 2-0. The Tigers scored their third goal of the night on another penalty kick in the 86
th minute, putting Trinity up 3-0 late in the match.
The Cru fought back with a score by Crusader

th minute, but the Tigers held onto the lead and secured the 3-1 victory.
Aidan Aguilera-Reeves led the Cru with one goal while
Alex Bethke added the assist.
Karsen Macias led the team in shots, adding two for the match. The Crusaders totaled nine shots in the game with three on frame. Defensively,
Hughston Taggart tallied five saves for the Cru.
The Cru returns to play for their final regular season match against Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene on November 1. The match begins at 7:30 pm.
