BELTON, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women's soccer team earned a 3-0 win over East Texas Baptist University in the 2025 American Southwest Conference Women's Soccer Championship Tournament Semifinal Thursday evening in Belton. The win advances the Cru to the 2025 ASC Championship match.
The first half played scoreless with UMHB outshooting the Tigers 6-3 in the half. The Cru also put four shots on frame.
Gracie Ruthven,
Audrey Harlien and
McKenna Prichard each tallied three shots in the half.
Audrey Harlien opened the second half with a goal less than two minutes in, going in unassisted for a 1-0 UMHB margin.
Jayme Dowell added an insurance goal for the Cru in the 85th minute, finishing a ricocheted shot from Harlien for a 2-0 lead.
Gracie Ruthven added one more goal for the Cru in the 89
th minute, scoring off a pass from
Leila Cunningham for a 3-0 win.
Ruthven led the Cru with five shots while Harlien and
Bella Park each added three.
Aubrey Tipton earned the 90-minute shutout for the Cru, making five saves in the contest.
UMHB advances to face Hardin-Simmons University in the ASC Championship on Saturday, November 8
th at 4 p.m.
