MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor volleyball team earned a 3-0 sweep over Rhodes College Thursday evening in Memphis. The win improved the Cru to 19-5 on the season while the Lynx fell to 10-19.
 
UMHB pulled ahead in the first set with a 5-1 run, taking an 11-6 lead. The Lynx pulled within three but UMHB maintained the lead, taking an eight-point lead at 22-14 and cruising to a 25-17 win.
 
The Cru dominated the Lynx in the second set, going ahead 11-2 and putting the set away with a 25-8 final score. UMHB opened the final set with an 8-2 run and maintained at least a five-point margin throughout the set, sealing the sweep with a 25-19 final-set win.
 
Raylee Schaffner led the Cru with 13 kills while Dravyn Hurd added eight and Baylee Mobley had six. Kendall Harrington anchored the Cru with 30 assists, adding four service aces. Angie Garcia led the defense with 15 digs, followed by Mobley with 14.
