BELTON, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women's soccer team played Austin College to a scoreless draw Saturday night in Belton.
UMHB outshot the Roos 15-9 in the first half. Austin College had a solid chance in the 24
th minute but
Morgan Oliver made a jumping save to preserve the tie. The Cru continued to press, putting up nine more shots in the second half to total 24 in the contest.
Gracie Ruthven led the Cru with five shots, followed by
Abigail Hickman with four. UMHB put six shots on frame, led by
Trinity Hoffmann with two.
Morgan Oliver and
Aubrey Tipton split time in the net for the Cru with Oliver making the lone save.
UMHB returns to action on Saturday, September 20
th in a 3:30 p.m. contest at No. 1 Wash U- St. Louis in Memphis.
