Tyler, TX – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor softball team could not generate enough offense to overcome Pacific Lutheran's multiple runs innings and the Cru dropped both ends of a non-conference doubleheader to the sixth-ranked Lutes Monday in Tyler. UMHB fell 6-0 and 4-0 to drop to 14-11 on the season. Pacific Lutheran improves 20-6 to on the year with the two victories.
The Cru was limited to just two hits in the opener and could not overcome the Lutes four-run second inning in a 6-0 loss. Pacific Lutheran built that early 4-0 lead and then put the game out of reach with two more in the fifth inning.

Camryn Bintz had the Cru's hits in the game.
Rebekah Ragsdale took the loss to drop to 7-5 on the year for the Cru. UMHB was outhit 11-2 in the loss and also committed an error.
The Cru was held scoreless again in a 4-0 game two loss. The game was scoreless until Pacific Lutheran finally pushed across a run in the third inning. The Lutes added some breathing room with a three-run fifth inning. Pacific Lutheran only outhit UMHB 7-5 in the game, but also took advantage of three Cru errors.
Ariel Kemmerer took the loss to fall to 4-3 on the season.
Caitlin Bollier reached base three times on a hit, walk and hit-by-pitch for UMHB in the game.
The Cru will return to action with a four-game American Southwest Conference West Division series at Sul Ross State this weekend. The two teams will open the series with a 1:00 PM doubleheader on Friday before closing out the weekend with an 11:00 AM doubleheader on Saturday in Alpine.
