AUSTIN, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men's soccer team was edged 1-0 by Concordia Texas Saturday night in Austin. The loss dropped the Cru to 4-4-1 on the season and 2-2-0 in American Southwest Conference play while the Tornados improved to 9-1 on the season and 3-1 in conference action.
Diego Outerial scored the game-winning goal for the Tornados in the 40
th minute off an assist from Matthew Butler.
Case Carnes and
McKenna Cook were the only Crusaders to record shots in the match with two and one respectively. Defensively,
Javier Zaragoza took the loss, allowing one goal and recording one save on five shots faced.
